Group: Forum Members Posts: 78, Visits: 176	Most aviation gps units have this feature. Its useful if: 1. You want to be sure to arrive before dark. 2. You don't mind whether you are flying in the dark, but want to know how much night to record in your logbook.

I suppose it would be best in plog or indeed as one of your warnings if either the planned dep/arr times were during the hours of darkness. In particular, whilst we are in the night flying season it would be nice to know when we can legally call things 'night'.
